Huge win as Hurst bags 10

Barwon Heads young gun Charlie Hurst slammed through 10 goals as Barwon Heads completed a 240-point demolition job on Portarlington in round 8 of Bellarine Football League on Saturday.

The Seagulls booted 40 goals on their way to a mammoth score of 264. They bagged 13 in the first quarter, nine in the second, eight in the third and and 10 in the last.

Ammos enhanced its own finals chances with superb games from David McNeel and Jackson Williams while James Paterson was a beacon of light up forward for the Grubbers with three goals.

Torquay proved too good for Queenscliff, winning by 82 points. Ben Raidme slotted through six goals for the Tigers.
