Get fired up for some of the hottest musicians performing at the Jack Rabbit Vineyard as part of the 2016 Fireside series. Across four wonderful evenings, patrons will enjoy star quality performances and a three-course meal at the Jack Rabbit Restaurant.
The series will kick off with an Australian ABBA tribute show, Bjorn to be Wild, on Saturday 9 July. The show promises to reignite the soul, fun and music of this legendary group which successfully crossed as many genres as it has generations.
On Saturday 16 July, a thrilling night of classic jazz is assured when two of Australia’s leading jazz clarinetists, Dr Jonathan Hunt and David Gardner meet for the first time. Clarinet Summits performance is an event not to be missed by classic jazz enthusiasts.
The beat continues on Saturday 30 July with Sandra Talty and her swing quartet. Be enchanted by the belle of the Australian and international jazz scene as she reveals the splendour and soul of the 1920s, ’30s and ’40s. This will be a treat for young and old alike.
The final show on Saturday 20 August invites people to join the rising star of Australian jazz, Miss Georgia Brooks and her gentlemen of jazz, in a magical night of soulful ballads and upbeat swing.
All Fireside evenings commence at 7pm and feature a three-course dinner and show. Cost is $90 per person. Limited numbers. Drinks at bar prices.
