It’s official – Karen’s Diner is headed to Geelong.

After months of speculation, the hugely popular franchise is opening in Malop Street in January 2023.

Known for its wait staff who are intentionally rude to customers, Karen’s Diner offers burgers, chicken wings, hot dogs and shakes, employs people who are rude to customers on purpose and expects its diners to “give it the full Karen back”.

The diner will be Karen’s first in regional Victoria with two already established in Melbourne.

“Customers can expect plenty of sass, great food and a sprinkle of bad attitude,” a spokesperson said.

“As Karen’s Diner goes, the food is great, the service ungrateful but your experience will be unforgettable. Don’t expect special treatment at this diner because it’s all about Karen, and she won’t be taking any of your nonsense.

“Come have some fun and wind the staff up to unleash your inner Karen and see their full Karen potential.”

“This is dining with a twist – the food is great, the service is ungrateful but your experience will be unforgettable.

“This is the anti Google review diner, a place where having 100k on Instagram gets you a naughty sticker rather than a free meal.

“A place where you can complain until the cows come home because we literally don’t care.”

Earlybird tickets are now available and Karen’s Diner said they are highly recommended as diners typically are booked out months in advance.
