Ocean Grove and Queenscliff will do battle in this Sunday’s Geelong Bowls Region Pennant Division grand final.
The Grovers proved too strong for Highton in the semi-final, winning 99 to 78.
Brad Pavey’s rink had a 13-shot win, Matt Flapper’s rink prevailed by six and Peter Loe’s rink won by seven.
Queenscliff defeated Lara 82 to 64.
Ben Russell’s rink had a strong 21 to 13 win.
Ocean Grove and Queescliff will meet in the decider at Drysdale on Sunday April 3 starting at 1pm.
Ocean Grove and Torquay will play in the Division 1 final at Drysdale.
Ocean Grove defeated St Leonards in the semi-final 87 to 75.
St Leonards won one rink, another was tied, Allan Callow’s rink scraped home by one shot and it was Rick Webb’s rink of Geoff Fry, Terrence Brady and Garry Bowyer that got Grove home with a mammoth 33 to 11 win.
