Geelong Amateur sealed the last position in the top five with a convincing win against Ocean Grove in the final round.

Ammos won by 57 points, but would have finished fifth had they lost.

Queenscliff lost to top side Torquay while Anglesea suffered a shock loss to Newcomb.

Evan Farley was best afield with three goals for Ammos, who will now face Modewarre in an elimination final this Sunday.

Torquay finished minor premiers with a 63-point win against Queenscliff.

Paul McMahon booted five for the Tigers, who will now have a week off before meeting the winner of Drysdale vs Barwon Heads.

Barwon Heads disposed of Portarlington by 149 points with Nathan Brown booting eight and Shaun Lyle six.

The Seagulls meet Drysdale in a qualifying final on Saturday.

Drysdale will go into that game in form after a 36-point win against Modewarre.

Mat Hebbard kicked eight and finished the home and away season with 87 goals while Connor Joseph booted four for Modda to take his tally to 66.

Newcomb won its fifth game of the season courtesy of a 12-point triumph over Anglesea.

The Power was behind at every quarter except for the one that mattered with Pat McGinley and Matthew Walson playing well.
