All eyes on the weather

All eyes will be on the weather today as sides jostle for a finals spot in Bellarine Peninsula Cricket Association A2 Grade plays its final home and away round.

Rain is forecast and Portarlington will be desperately hoping it clears in time to get its game against top side Drysdale goes ahead.

Port must win and hope second placed Armstrong Creek defeats Winchelsea to grab fourth spot and a semi-final berth.

Barwon Heads will be hoping for a full day’s play, too.

The Heads play the winless Newcomb and will be hoping for six points and Winchelsea to beat Armstrong Creek to pinch second spot and a home semi.

Armstrong Creek can still snatch top spot if it wins and Port beats Drysdale.

Drysdale will finish top if it beats arch rivals Portarlington.

The only game that doesn’t have any bearing on the top is between Little River and Wallington.
