See the oval and round balls whiz around at Shell Road Recreation Reserve, where the mighty Grubbers take on the Torquay Tigers on Saturday 28 May. Footy and netball action all throughout the day from morning until late afternoon. Take the family and cheer on the red and white at Ocean Grove’s brand new sporting precinct.

 

GET YOUR MARKET ON
Rotary Ocean Grove indoor winter market is on Sunday 5 June, from 9am to 1pm. This monthly market has arts, crafts, local produces, oils, fresh fruit and vegetables, clothes, jewellery, toys and much more.

DROP IN for YOUTH
If you’re in Grade 6 anywhere up to VCE, why not drop in at the Ocean Grove Neighbourhood Centre on a Friday between 6pm and 9pm. Costs between $5 and $20 depending on the activity. All in-house events are $5 and covers the cost of staff and dinner.

GET IN TOUCH WITH NATURE
Ocean Grove Nature Reserve is the only preserved native woodland on the Bellarine Peninsula. Wildlife within the reserve includes wallabies, echidnas, possums and koalas. There are also snakes and lizards, as well as some 167 species of bird recorded. See if you can tick a few off your list.
