Traffic controllers have again been stationed in Barwon Heads to help ease road congestion this holiday period.
The controllers will operate in Barwon generally between 10am and 5pm:
Daily from Friday 20 December to Sunday 12 January (excluding Christmas day).
Weekends of 18 and 19 January, 25 to 27 January and 1 and 2 February.
Public holiday weekends 7 to 9 March (Labour Day) and 11 to 13 April (Easter).
Weather dependent (forecast 28 degrees or more and no rain) from 13 January to 6 March.
At this stage there is no plan to install VMS travel time boards, however the situation will be monitored.
