Karen Moller has been a volunteer at Woodlands Preschool for the past two years.
Karen has been living in Barwon Heads with her husband Eric after he was posted in the area for employment.
Karen is an early years teacher from Virginia, USA. Karen has now finished her stint and Woodlands wanted to recognise her, and register its appreciation and gratitude for her skills, enthusiasm and natural rapport with the children, staff and families.
Karen has been an integral member of the teaching team and has been dedicated and generous with her time. Karen’s happy, inspirational attitude has made it a pleasure to work with her every day. The children really admire and gravitate to her.
Her knowledge of child development has been an asset to the kinder’s planning and quality improvement. Woodlands was able to rely on Karen to follow through on plans and help make important decisions. She is extremely competent when leading small and large groups of children. Karen has been a quality strength to the kindergarten and everyone there will miss her expertise, happy personality and support immensely.
