President of Rotary Club of Ocean Grove Graeme Chamberlain with Ocean Grove artist Jill Shalless who took out the Best Overall Work of Art in Show with her work ''Foliage Tapestry''.

Melbourne Cup weekend was huge for Ocean Grove Rotarians with a monster market and a well-supported art show at Point Lonsdale.

Art show committee chair John Calnin was pleased with the result.

“We have been running the art show for eight years now and each year have been able to give a healthy amount to our main charities, Riding Develops Abilities and the Disabled Surfers Association,” he said.

Best Overall Work of Art in Show was regular participant Jill Shalless who took home $2500 for her work ‘Foliage Tapestry’.
