COVID cases decrease

Active COVID cases in Ocean Grove fell by 26 today (February 15).

Ocean Grove had 136 active cases, a decrease from 162 yesterday.

Active cases were down to 74 on February 4, but a spike in infections saw that number increase to 202.

The town had 14 new cases today, but the number of active cases fell as people recovered. There have been 2181 recorded cases since the pandemic began.

Barwon Heads has 30 active cases, Clifton Springs, Curlewis, Drysdale and Wallington has 93 (down from 109 yesterday), Indented Head, Portarlington and St Leonards has 27 while Point Lonsdale and Queenscliff has 23.

Cases in Armstrong Creek are still high with 267 active cases.

There were 8162 new cases today with 441 in hospital and 67 in ICU with 14 of those on ventilators.
