Labor has matched a $580,000 pledge by the Liberals to improve Collendina Recreation Reserve.
A Shorten Labor government will invest $580,000 towards facilities upgrades at at the reserve in Ocean Grove.
The investment will allow the Ocean Grove Cobras to upgrade the club rooms, bring the changing rooms up to date and construct an undercover area.
Labor Candidate for Corangamite Libby Coker said Labor’s commitment would help the club keep up with the pace of growth.
The Cobras are a growing junior club, fielding more than a dozen teams in 2019.
Labor has already announced a $500,000 investment towards upgrades at Memorial Oval in Ocean Grove, $3,000,000 towards the Drysdale Sports Precinct and $455,000 for upgrades at Portarlington Recreation Reserve.
