Music marathon for Chook Shop

Lachy Doley Group

Ocean Grove’s Piping Hot Chicken & Burger Grill is set for a music extravaganza over two weeks.

First up on Friday 21 February is Lachy Doley Group.

After three months touring major festivals in Europe, UK, Canada and the USA, Lachy Doley is finally on home soil to announce his new Aussie tour and brand new single ‘No Key Left Unbroken’.

A song inspired by the much dreamed of but sometimes soul-consuming world of international touring, never compromising your show and performing every city, every night like your life depends on it.

Do NOT check out this band if you’re after a great jazz organ trio playing some groovy tunes.

This is NOT the band for you….

But if you want to be spellbound, mesmerised, amazed and most of all entertained by an epic power Hammond trio then you’ll want to see this guy play.

Hailed around the world as the Jimi Hendrix of the Hammond Organ and Whammy Clavinet, his extremely unique brand of Blues Soul Rock Funk has exploded Facebook and YouTube.

In fact a live performance of his unlikely blues tune ‘Stop Listening to the Blues’ has just hit 4.8 million Facebook views with many more of his videos hot on its tail.

The following night, Eamon Dilworths Crawfish Po’Boys are back by popular demand

Trumpeter, songwriter and vocalist Eamon Dilworth is excited to announce the arrival of his new band the Crawfish Po’Boys.

Inspired by the music of Dr John, Professor Longhair and Kermit Ruffins, the band brings together some of Australia’s finest jazz and funk musicians, including Stu Hunter and Julien Wilson.

On Saturday 29 February it’s Zeffa Live with special guest Dallas Holden

Zeffa, an originals band based on the Surf Coast, believes life is about having fun.

This philosophy is embodied in their songs – an inventive brand of surf, pop, rock and funk – and shines through in their performances.

Together they’ve carved out an impressive portfolio of upbeat melodic original music and, in the process, honed a distinctive sound.

In recent years, Zeffa has appeared as part of the Queenscliff Music Festival, the Light of Day festival, the Airey’s Inlet Open Mike festival and Torquay Cowrie Market.

Zeffa is also in the studio working on a second album.

Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of an uplifting evening with Zeffa, a band firmly rooted in the local community.
