Woman struck by car in Ocean Grove

Police are appealing for information after a car collided with a pedestrian pushing a pram in Ocean Grove yesterday evening.

It is understood a small dark coloured vehicle, travelling in a westerly direction, struck a 59-year-old woman and a pram on Wallington Road near Parker Street about 6.15pm.

The pram was empty at the time of the incident.

The woman had minor injuries and did not require hospital treatment.

The driver did not stop and left the scene.
