Cases falling after recent spike

Active COVID cases in Ocean Grove fell by 19 today (February 10).

Ocean Grove had 183 active cases, a decrease from 202 yesterday.

Active cases were down to 74 on February 4, but a spike in infections saw that number increase to 202.

The town has recorded 2080 COVID infections since the pandemic began.

Barwon Heads has 40 active cases, Clifton Springs, Curlewis, Drysdale and Wallington has 121 (down from 127 yesterday), Indented Head, Portarlington and St Leonards has 57 while Point Lonsdale and Queenscliff has 34.

Cases in Armstrong Creek are still high with 303 active cases.

Statewide 46.6% of eligible people 16 and over have received their booster shot.

There were 9391 new cases today with 543 in hospital and 75 in ICU.
