As part of Surround Sounds Geelong and the Bellarine Music Festival, OK Motels heads to Geelong with West Town Music Club for two debutante performances at the Geelong West Town Hall.

Two huge line-ups are slated for Friday 22 April and Friday 6 May.

Geelong West Town Hall has a big music history with some pretty impressive acts. In the 1980s, it played host to The Fall and Wire, in 1990 legends Faith No More graced the red velvet cloaked stage for their epic The Real Thing tour with the Cosmic Psychos as support.

On Friday 22 April, the Cosmic Psychos will crank up the memory-filled music space once again to headline West Town Music Club alongside The Living Eyes, Dr Sure’s Unusual Practice and Operation Karma.

A few weeks later on Friday 6 May, the venue will host pub rockers Cash Savage and the Last Drinks, Floodlights, The Skips and The White Flower Society.

Geelong retro food favourites Ripper Roasts will serve up a roast dinner smorgasbord to accompany the line-up, with sides to please including classic scallop potatoes, peas, gravy and the roasted meat of your choice. Plenty of options for plant-based eaters too.

“The inaugural Surround Sounds Geelong and the Bellarine Music Festival is set to enhance our region’s contemporary music scene and cultural heritage, and the West Town Music Club will undoubtedly add a unique flavour to the festival,” says Deputy Mayor Cr Trent Sullivan.

“Greater Geelong has an extremely long and very proud history of producing talented musicians and has a strong reputation as being a live music hub.

“I encourage everyone to get out and support this event, and the many others that will be held throughout Surround Sounds.”

Walk through the archway across the parquetry floors, settle into your plastic moulded seating, dig in, tune in and enjoy the West Town Music Club in the architecturally pleasing Geelong West Town Hall.
