Member for Bellarine Lisa Neville today visited the Queenscliff Primary School to announce a state government grant of $497,987 for facility refurbishment.
The State Budget funding will be used to refurbish student and staff toilets in the main building, improving amenity, cleanliness and hygiene.
“Queenscliff Primary is a much-loved historic school and ongoing modernisation of its facilities will ensure students will continue to receive a first-class education in the first-class facilities they so deserve,” Ms Neville said.
“In recent years the school has experienced rapid growth in its enrolments and with currently 158 children attending the school it is important facilities keep pace with this growth.
“Queenscliff Primary is a great school led by principal Richard Buckingham and I congratulate the entire school community for their work for their commitment to the future of the school and its students.”
