Searoad Ferries takes out award

Australia’s busiest car and passenger ferry service has taken out the Major Tour/Transport Operator category at the Victorian Tourism Awards.

Searoad Ferries CEO Matt McDonald said winning the prestigious award is a credit to the team who have shown great resilience, innovation and dedication.

“Our team has worked hard to make the ferry crossing more than just a transport option,” Mr McDonald said.

“It’s fantastic to be recognised for the role we play in connecting visitors with the spectacular Bellarine and Mornington Peninsulas, and for the unique and unforgettable on-board experience we provide our customers during the crossing.”

Searoad Ferries is a family-run business connecting visitors with the state’s best attractions, by providing a sea link between the Mornington and Bellarine Peninsulas.

“We are looking forward to representing Victoria at the 2021 Qantas Australian Tourism Awards in March,” Mr McDonald said.
