11 new cases for Ocean Grove

Ocean Grove had 11 new official COVID cases today (February 4), but active case numbers are continuing to fall.

Ocean Grove had 74 active cases, a decrease of nine from yesterday and a marked decrease from the 213 active cases on January 16.

The town has recorded 1113 COVID infections since the pandemic began.

While new cases are still being recorded, the number of active cases is falling as people recover.

Barwon Heads has 15 active cases, Clifton Springs, Curlewis, Drysdale and Wallington has 64 (up from 55 yesterday), Indented Head, Portarlington and St Leonards has 30 while Point Lonsdale and Queenscliff has 28.

Statewide there were 11,240 new cases today with 707 in hospital and 79 in ICU.
