Senior women’s football returned for 2019 with Ocean Grove hosting a practice match against Grovedale at Ray Menzies Memorial Oval at Shell Road on Thursday night 20 March.
The Grubbers and Tigers female players had one of their final pre-season match hit-outs under lights before their 2019 season campaign starts on Sunday 7 April.
The Ocean Grove senior women’s team will be coached by Lisa Borg and Sal Enders in 2019.
In their inaugural season Ocean Grove (9-6) finished third on the ladder before finals in the senior women’s Division 2 competition in 2018.
Ocean Grove went down to Barwon Heads, the Division 2 senior women’s premiers, in a knockout semi-final by only one point last season.
