Queenscliff can still snatch second spot on the BPCA A1 Grade ladder from Jan Juc.
With the final home and away round to get underway tomorrow (weather permitting), the Coutas must beat Ocean Grove and hope Inverleigh causes an upset against the Sharks.
Either way Queensliff and Jan Juc will meet each other in next week’s semi-final – it just depends on where. Second place will earn a home final.
Ocean Grove will meet Anglesea in a semi-final and its game against Queenscliff is a perfect audition.
Anglesea will finish first, but that was known a long time ago.
The Seas are unbeaten and will get a good test against a resurgent St Leonards, which will be buoyed by a win last week, which avoided relegation.
Collendina hosts Barrabool with both sides looking to end on a high after disappointing seasons.
