Police are urging locals with any information about the attack on young people at “The Crater” last month to come forward, and they are very interested in hearing from anyone who recognises, or has other information about, the man pictured.
The attack at “The Crater” near Surf Beach Road happened on Saturday 11 February about 10pm.
A group of 10-15 males, believed to be aged between 15 and 20, approached the youths who had gathered for a party, and a number of assaults ensued.
At least eight teenagers, aged between 16 and 19, seven males and one female, received minor injuries as a result of the fight.
Police attended, but the alleged offenders had fled the scene, and no arrests were made.
Investigators have released a digital image of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information relating to the man depicted in the image to come forward.
