At least six fire trucks attended a Barwon Heads garage fire on Sunday night.
The garage, on Taits Road, and spread to the adjoining house.
Fire crews attended the property just before 8pm and had the blaze under control just before 10pm.
Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria were also on scene.
Voice news editor Justin Flynn, who lives nearby, said he heard sirens just before 8pm and that fire crews quickly set about extinguishing the blaze and that it appeared nobody was injured.
