Sam set for MCG debut

Carlton coach Brendon Bolton has confirmed that Collendina junior Sam Walsh will make his AFL debut tomorrow night.

Walsh, 18, was drafted at number one by the Blues in November and has starred in the club’s two JLT Community Series games.

Walsh collected 28 disposals with five inside 50s in the opening preseason match against Essendon and had 23 touches in the second game against Collingwood.

Walsh will debut tomorrow night against Richmond at the MCG.
