Bellarine Secondary College dux of 2025 Ella Brown was so inspired by her teachers this year that she wants to follow in their footsteps.
Ella, from Ocean Grove, scored 96.1 in her ATAR results and plans to go to Deakin University to study PE and health secondary teaching.
“I had a few really good teachers this year and I guess they’ve inspired me to do the same,” she said.
It was incredible the support of all the teachers, and even not just the teachers, all the adults and students. They’ve really supported everyone.”
Ella said she wasn’t sure what to expect when the results dropped on the morning of Thursday 11 December.
“It was pretty exciting,” she said.
”I was really shocked, if I’m being completely honest, but definitely didn’t expect it.
“I had a goal that I wanted to achieve, but I didn’t really know.”
Ella plans to spend the summer hanging with friends and going on a camping trip with her family.
Will Pope scored 95.85 for his ATAR and Frankie Martino scored 93.05.
Ismena Goddard was the school’s outstanding VCE vocational major student.
Bellarine Secondary College’s class of 2025 had a 97 percent successful completion of VCE/VCE-VM while 22 students were awarded the VCE-Vocational Major certificate.
