The season to serve

THE Ocean Grove Tennis Club’s Christmas party drew about 160 people recently.
All sections of club turned out from veterans, juniors, ladies, men and Saturday comps.
There was a jumping castle and a Santa pinata – that came in handy for serving practice.
Dinner was served and then traditional carols were sung, led by Paul James and Kylie Thomas. Who would have thought ’Eagle Rock’ was a Christmas carol?
The club has grown to a whopping 360 members.
Competition resumes on 4 February.
