Open day for new hub

Barwon Heads’ new Arts & Community Hub will hold a community open day on Sunday August 28.

Artworks from more than 20 artists from Barwon Heads and the Bellarine will feature in the first ever exhibition at the new hub in August and September.

The exhibition celebrates the depth of local talent and includes some of our best local artists – Patsy Bush, Mark Cairns, Bill Linford, Wayne Elliott, David Hobday, Dani Salvo and many more.

The full program features the art exhibition in the main gallery, free artist-led activities, Lions Club barbecue, a quilters display and community group catch ups.

Art activities will be taking place in the Makers Shed, there’ll be opportunities to find out more about local community groups as well as music, food and more…

The exhibition will kick off as part of the community open day on August 28 and will run until September 4.

August 28 – 11am to 3pm

August 29 to September 2 – noon to 4pm

September 3 and 4 – 10am to 4pm

All artwork on exhibit is offered for sale.
