Exposure sites revealed

A positive COVID-19 case in Barwon Heads has prompted the Department of Health to identify exposure sites in the town.

Players and coaches from Barwon Heads Football Netball Club who attended Village Park on Monday July 12 between 4.30pm and 6.30pm are deemed to be in a Tier 1 exposure and must get tested and quarantine for 14 days.

Initially the department issued the warning for Howard Harmer Oval in the caravan park, but the exposure has since been confirmed to be at the Village Park cricket and soccer ovals.

The information comes after a student from Barwon Heads Primary School tested positive, prompting the school to close today.
