Fatal collision in Anglesea

Police are investigating a fatal collision in Anglesea this afternoon.

It is understood two vehicles collided on Great Ocean Road near Ellimatta Road about 12.25pm.

The yet-to-formally be identified driver and sole occupant of the first vehicle died at the scene.

An occupant of the second vehicle was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Two other occupants of the second vehicle were not injured.

The circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be established and the investigation is ongoing.
