Man dies after Drysdale motorcycle accident

A man has died following a crash in Drysdale this morning.

Officers were told a motorcycle travelling east on the Drysdale bypass crashed into a guard rail between High Street and Princess Street about 4.45am.

Emergency services rendered assistance to the male rider before he was air-lifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The rider, a 43-year-old Portarlington man, died in hospital.
