Mild days and chilly nights in store

Can you believe there is only about three weeks until the official end of winter?

The days are getting longer with some mild ones thrown in lately and soon they will be longer and warmer.

Today (Friday August 8) is expected to be dry and in the mid-teens with similar conditions for Saturday and Sunday before climbing up to the high-teens on Monday.

We are in for some chilly nights and mornings, though, with overnight lows struggling to break past 6 degrees and there is even a chance of front on Sunday morning.

There doesn’t appear to be any chance of rain until at least Tuesday.

Our beaches are still great places to be, even when it’s cooler.
