Lots of love for Sunset Run

The Flying Brick Bellarine Sunset Run returns on Valentine’s Day and organisers are dubbing it the ‘Love Edition’.

Grab your partner, your mates, or just your love for running on Saturday 14 February for an evening run on the stunning Bellarine coastline.

After a record-breaking 1800 participants in 2025, the Sunset Run has become a true community celebration.

Whether you’re chasing a PB, walking with friends, or soaking up the sunset vibes, the event is all about inclusiveness, connection and fun.

“Every year, we see more people come together to celebrate health, happiness, and community,” event founder Dion Milne said.

“The Bellarine Sunset Run is about moving your body, enjoying the outdoors, and sharing the experience with people you care about. It’s taken 11 years and now we finally fall on Valentine’s Day.”

Running distances are 21km (half-marathon), 10km and a 4km kids run.

Kids are encouraged to join the 4km McColl’s Transport Belly Buster, aimed at promoting kindness, confidence, and resilience among young people. Since its inception it has provided free participation for more than 1000 youngsters, ensuring they can enjoy the event in a safe and supportive environment.

More than $40,000 has been raised for Bellarine Community Health to help fund programs that make a difference in the community.

Children 12 and under can sign up free until 12 January or until spaces are booked out.
