Cafe enjoys the golden touch

THE Driftwood Cafe in Ocean Grove has won a Golden Plate award for the Best Licensed Cafe.
At a ceremony held at Little Creatures in Geelong, the cafe picked up the award in the Geelong Otway Region and will go on to represent the region at the state awards on 21 November.
“It’s nice to get a pat on the back for all the hard work we do,” owner Ty Simons said.
“We imbibed in a little too much at Little Creatures on the night, but it was great to celebrate the award.”
