Remembrance Day services will be held throughout the Bellarine on Sunday.
There will be a service at the cenotaph in Ocean Grove Park at 10.45am and Barwon Heads Community Hall at 10.45am.
This year will focus on it being the centenary of the last year of the Great War of 1914-18.
During the afternoon, a Remembrance Day Bowls Tournament will be held. The sub-branch will be sponsoring the bowls competition on the afternoon of 11 November at Ocean Grove Bowling Club.
A service at Mannerim Memorial Indigenous Garden at 10.15 am will feature an address from Maggie Stowers, a researcher from Queenscliffe Historical Museum.
Maggie has extensively researched WW1 hostilities in France, and will be presenting her research on a particular local serviceman whose name is listed on the memorial plaque, and whose grave she has visited in France.
The Drysdale RSL Sub-branch will be holding a service commencing at 10am commemorating the Centenary of the Armistice, followed by a free family gathering.
