Ocean Grovers are being encouraged to help out on Earth Day.
Ocean Grove Coastcare is inviting you to participate in a beach clean-up on 22 April, which coincides with Earth Day.
The clean-up will start at the main beach at 10am and will run through until noon when the good people of Rotary will be providing a free barbecue.
Organisers are hoping to collect information about the quantity of plastic waste during the clean-up, particularly plastic bags.
Ocean Grove Coastcare is a group of volunteers who are passionate about protecting and enhancing the coastline.
If you’re interested in helping out, organisers have asked that you register your interest at oceangrovecoastcare@gmail.com or on the Facebook site.
Be part of the clean-up
