Parks Victoria has agreed to extend the public consultation deadline for proposed upgrades to the Ocean Grove Nature Reserve after complaints that the initial process was too short.
Energy, Environment and Climate Change Minister Lily D’Ambrosio opened consultation for $245,000 of upgrades to the main entrance, car park and toilets at the reserve, with a deadline of December 30.

Some Ocean Grove residents are concerned that they won’t be able to foot the bill of City of Greater Geelong’s proposed footpath network.
The details of the Principal Pedestrian Network are yet to be finalised, however Council expects that affected property owners will need to help pay for some it.

The streetscape of The Terrace could change dramatically in the coming year, with an application submitted to council for a permit for a four-storey motel.
Last Friday was the deadline for submissions and objections to the council, and so far there have been only three objections.
