Borough of Queenscliffe residents and those visiting the region are encouraged to take advantage of a state government rebate program.
The Dining and Entertainment program offers customers up to $125 back on food and entertainment costs, including dining opportunities, visits to galleries or museums and live shows.
Queenscliffe mayor Ross Ebbels said the announcement makes it more attractive to enjoy what Queenscliffe and Point Lonsdale has to offer.
“Whether you’re seeing a show on the famous Blues Train, dining out at Plated Point Lonsdale, or listening to a talk at the Queenscliff Literary Festival, there’s no better time to take a trip to the borough,” he said.
Blues Train founder and proprietor Hugo T. Armstrong said the program will help make dining and entertainment experiences more accessible to all.
“Visiting the Borough of Queenscliffe is an unforgettable experience, creating memories that will last a lifetime,” he said.
“This is an opportunity to get a 25 per cent rebate on arts, entertainment and music experiences in our region.
“We welcome you to this unique part of Australia.”
Participants can submit their claim to the secure websites with their proof of purchase or tax invoice and personal bank account details.
