Mac Hooper and Kimmy Gilling finished ninth in the Under 19 double ski event at the 2022 Australian Surf Life Saving Championships.
Both Ocean Grove locals, but competing for Torquay SLSC, Mac and Kimmy finished fifth in the semi-final to qualify for the final.
They are the residing Victorian champs after the State Championships in Warrnambool, and capped it off with a solid ninth in the final at the Aussies, in some tough conditions.
Mac and Kimmy are both 19 years old, uni students and work locally.
