Barwon Heads Ocean Grove road is closed between the bridge and Wallington Road following a car accident.
A female driver has been taken to hospital with nonlife threatening injuries but the road is not expected to open until late morning.
Emergency services are directing traffic and a significant detour is in place via Barwon Heads Road and Bellarine Highway.
