Ocean Grove Collendina Cobras Football Club enthusiastic juniors joined forces with Grubber senior players for the culmination of Cobra week on Saturday.
Cobra youngsters got a rare chance to mingle with Ocean Grove players in rooms before the club’s BFL senior clash against Modewarre at Ray Menzies Memorial Oval.
On Tuesday 25 July, the Cobras and their junior coaches participated in training with Grubber senior players and had a Q&A session with Ocean Grove coach Paul Lynch.
Ocean Grove Football Netball Club paid tribute to Cobra week during half time of the Modewarre and Ocean Grove senior BFL clash at the Shell Road sports pavilion.
“During the week the Ocean Grove Collendina Cobras under-10s trained with the senior group,” club president Tony Potter said.
“Paul Lynch spoke with junior coaches during the week (and players) and they were invited onto the pre-match address.
“All at OGFNC enjoyed being involved with the committee and families of the Ocean Grove Collendina Cobras Football Club (OGCCFC) loved having them around the club.”
