Queenscliff’s Lachie Kidd won the Ron Evans Medal as the best player in the Bellarine Peninsula Cricket Association.
Kidd was dangerous as an opening batter this season with 425 runs at 35.42 and took 17 wickets.
Kidd came hom in the count with a flurry of votes to win by one from Jan Juc star Ben Grinter and Anglesea gun Ned Cooper.
St Leonards left-arm quick Cam Egan was the best bowler with 30 wickets while Anglesea lefty Ned Cooper was the leading batter with 686 runs.
Armstrong Creek’s Dylan Flangian tied for the A2 Grade Ian Caldwell Medal with Portarlington’s Blake Dobbin.
Flanigan also topped the runs with 586 with Winchelsea’s Matt Partridge taking 27 wickets.
Drysdale’s Bailey Sykes won the George Malcolm award for the emerging player and Darren Fox won the Billy Bell Medal for the best umpire.
Wallington was awarded the Ron Birch Shield for the spirit of cricket.
Keith Adams and Adrian Cobb were awarded life membership.
