Ocean Grove is into the Bellarine Netball League A Grade grand final with a stunning five-goal win against Torquay in the preliminary final on Saturday.
A strong first half set up the win with Ocean Grove leading by 10 at the break.
Torquay reduced the margin, but the Grubbers held sway to reach the grand final against Geelong Amateur this Saturday.
Defender Kelsey Ollis was a welcome inclusion after being unavailable last week and was best while Georgia Ryan and goalshooter Rebecca O’Neill (39 goals) were top contributors.
The B Grade side had the week off and will meet Torquay in the grand final on Saturday.
The C Grade team is also into a grand final after thrashing Torquay, 41 to 19.
Goalshooter Amelia Cunningham was brilliant for Ocean Grove, which will meet Modewarre in the decider.
Geelong Amateur proved too good in the second half for Ocean Grove in the D Grade preliminary final despite the best efforts of Paula Birch, Jorja Connellan and Tarryn Stanley.
Ocean Grove will meet Geelong Amateur in the E Grade grand final after Ammos defeated Barwon Heads by two goals in the prelim.
