Footy, netball to resume

AFL Barwon has announced a return to community sport following the easing of restrictions in Victoria effective from tonight, however spectators will not be permitted.

All senior and junior football and netball training and games can recommence if current restrictions and protocols are strictly adhered to.

Spectators are not allowed until further advised by the Victorian government, excluding people necessary for events such as teachers, instructors, trainers, coaches, umpires, carers, parents and guardians.

Face masks must be worn by officials at all times and a 1.5m social distance must be maintained.
