The penultimate round of Bellarine Peninsula Cricket Association A2 Grade today (February 26) looks likely to shape the final four.
Armstrong Creek will play Barwon Heads in a semi-final, but will secure home ground advantage if it can beat Wallington, as expected.
Even if the Heads beat top side Drysdale, the Titans would have a one-game buffer plus percentage going into the finals.
Winchelsea is currently edging out Portarlington for a finals spot, but only percentage separates the two sides. However, the percentage gap is sizeable.
Winch faces a danger game against Little River while Port meets the winless Newcomb.
Port will need to win both games if it is to have any chance of finals.
Even then, it must rely on Winchelsea to lose today, because it is highly unlikely to lose its final home and away game against Newcomb.
