Grove is the only unbeaten team in the comp and on top of the table, looking strong. The Coutas took it right up to Grove in the opening term, but the home side pulled away and showed its class. Best: Ella O’Brien, Gemma Bell.

A fast start by the Grubbers before an even second term. An 18-goal third quarter put to rest any chance of Drysdale snatching a win. Best: Jessica Griffin, Emily Moroney, Lucinda Vercher.
B Grade: Ocean Grove 49 def Drysdale 26
Grove led by 22 goals at the last change and while the Hawks were good in the last quarter, it wasn’t enough to claim victory. Best: Claudia Britt, Meg Badrock.
C Grade: Ocean Grove 21 def by Drysdale 25
A powerful second term set up the win for the Hawks. Scores were level at the first break, but Drysdale scored eight goals to one in the second. A 10 goals to four third term got Grove back into the game and there was only one goal separating the sides at the last change. Drysdale steadied and played a good final term.
