Grubbers fare well at league awards

Four Ocean Grove netballers finished in the top 10 of the BNL B Grade best and fairest last night.

Claudia Britt polled 18 votes to finish equal third while Nikki Cooke and Jesse Sutton each polled 16 votes and Meg Badrock 15.

Gemma Bell finished runner-up in the C grade netball best and fairest.

Gemma polled 27 votes, two votes behind winner Lauren Richardson of Modewarre.

Gemma’s teammate Alyse O’Keefe finished third on 16 votes.

Tina Birch finished equal fourth in D Grade with 18 votes.

Terri-Anne Finch was runner-up in the E Grade award with 17 votes, one vote ahead of teammate Lara Barnes.
