Ocean Grove seamer Lindon Giuffrida took five wickets despite his side’s B1 Grade loss to Queenscliff.

In a low-scoring game, Giuffrida picked up 5/20 in routing the Coutas for 104, but Darcy Mullen stepped up for Queenscliff with 4/22 to help dismiss Grove for 87.

Jack Wyeth smacked 76 for Jan Juc while Barrabool’s Lachlan Brown took 4/22 against Armstrong Creek.

In B2 Grade, two sides enjoyed 10-wicket wins.

Portarlington, led by Paul McGrath with 4/8 and Aaron Nicholson with 3/6, chased down Inverleigh’s 36 without losing a wicket.

Collendina’s Monty Juffermans-Goodluck snagged 4/8 and Jake Gittins 3/16 in routing Winchelsea for 57 and Harrison O’Neil (36 not out) and Max Sutton (28 not out) got the runs in 12 overs.

Cam Gourley dominated Portarlington’s C Grade game against Ocean Grove with a superb unbeaten 101 in a comfortable win.

Marc Occhipinti’s 81 wasn’t enough to get Wallington home against Barwon Heads. Michael Moulton and Ben McCredden both made half-centuries for the Seagulls.

Queenscliff’s Cam Hapgood made 92 in D Grade while teammate Tyler Monohan hit 81 in their side’s win against Newcomb. Lee Murrary then took 5/25 to ice the game for Queenscliff.

Todd Rosewall made 88 for Jan Juc, Tim Morgan hit 76 not out for Barrabool and Doug Fairchild was in form with 71 for Little River.
