Ocean Grove faces a must-win game on Easter Saturday.
Already at two losses and no wins, the Grubbers face a tough match-up against an unknown Newcomb side.
The Power was competitive in its first hit-out and thrashed Portarlington in round two as expected.
Ocean Grove was outclassed by Torquay in round one and fell to a disappointing loss to Anglesea last week.
The Grubbers simply must win this week’s twilight clash which gets underway at 4.15pm at Ray Menzies Reserve.
Portarlington has improved this season, but faces footy’s toughest test.
The Demons host a rampant Torquay and will find the going tough.
Geelong Amateur is coming off a horrible round loss and runs into a Modewarre team that seems once again destined for the top three.
A young Queenscliff side hosts Drysdale. The Coutas were better than last week’s 50-point loss suggested, but Drysdale presents another challenge. The Hawks are 2-0 and looking good.
Barwon Heads needs to defeat Anglesea to stay in touch with the top three.
The Seagulls have lost their opening two games, albeit to Drysdale and Torquay, but would be disappointed with their form.
Anglesea showed it will be thereabouts this season after its good win against Ocean Grove, but may find the Heads a tougher proposition.
