Anglesea and Jan Juc will play for the Bellarine Peninsula Cricket Association A1 Grade premiership at Inverleigh on Saturday.
Anglesea won its way into the decider with a crushing win against Ocean Grove while Jan Juc accounted for Queenscliff.
Anglesea batted first in its semi-final and lost prolific run scorer Ned Cooper early, but Ty Norman and Brett Harding built a partnership.
Norman was run out for 62 and Harding contributed 30 and Dale Kerr whacked a quick 62 not out to help the total to more than 200.
It was tough going for the Grubbers’ attack, but Lindon Giuffrida bowled economically, conceding just 14 from six overs.
The run chase was always going to be difficult and it was made even more so after Ocean Grove was 3-7 with two needless run outs making things even worse.
Only Fletcher Long (16) and Paul Jubber (12) made double figures in the final total of 72.
It was the slow bowling of Joe Lynch (4-21) and Brett Venables (3-15) that did the majority of the damage for Anglesea.
Jan Juc won a tight contest against Queenscliff after restricting the Coutas to 118 all out.
The Coutas lost Lachie Kidd for a duck, but left-hander Tim Frankenburg continued his excellent form with 58 from 109 balls.
A string of ducks punctuated Queenscliff’s innings with two diamond ducks a particular lowlight.
Once again it was Jordy Graham who was hard to get away. The left-arm seamer took 1-7 from eight immaculate overs.
The run chase didn’t start well with Jan Juc’s best three batters back in the sheds early.
But Brad Roberts (39 from 66) and the experienced Iain Lygo (21 from 68) resurrected the innings.
The Sharks eventually got home with four wickets and 31 deliveries remaining.
Veteran seamer Tony Hanafin was superb for Queenscliff with 3-20.
