Ocean Grove Surf Life Saving Club is the best in the state after a stunning win at the 2017 Victorian Senior Lifesaving Championships held at Port Fairy.
More than 750 life savers from more than 30 Victorian lifesaving clubs competed in the two-day championship event hosted by Port Fairy SLSC.
Life Saving Victoria sports co-ordinator Luke Gavin said it was a strong field of life savers contesting the events, with some impressive athleticism on display.
“The surf conditions were favourable for the championships and we witnessed some top competition on Saturday and Sunday,” Mr Gavin said.
